Hyperliquid Monthly Returns

Historical price returns computed from daily futures closes: monthly and quarterly heatmap, weekly strip, weekday averages and yearly totals. Month return = last close of the month vs the previous month's last close; quarters and years compound the months.

About Hyperliquid (HYPE) monthly returns

HYPE is the youngest asset on these pages — its perpetual history on Coinfuty begins in 2025 — which makes its returns grid less a seasonality study and more a live logbook of a new market finding its price. With so few closed months, single cells dominate every aggregate: one strong month can flip the sign of the year-to-date total.

The page still earns its keep for HYPE holders: the Weekly tab shows where inside each month the moves concentrated, and the italic YTD row keeps in-progress figures clearly separated from closed ones. As calendar years complete, the medians and KPI cards will fill in exactly as they do for the older coins.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the HYPE grid show mostly empty or single rows?

Because its recorded history is short — the HYPE perpetual Coinfuty tracks began trading in 2025. Rows appear as calendar years accrue; dashed cells mark months before the listing, not missing data.

Can seasonality be read from HYPE's table yet?

Not meaningfully. Monthly medians need multiple observations per calendar month to say anything, and HYPE has at most a couple. For now the table is best used as a compact record of each month's actual result.

Do these figures update automatically?

Yes — every daily close updates the in-progress month, and each month-end freezes a new final cell. The UPDATED stamp under the grid shows the latest close included.
