About Starknet CVD by exchange

Cumulative volume delta (CVD) adds up the difference between taker buy and taker sell volume over time. Every trade on a STRK perpetual market has an aggressor: a market buy lifts the ask and counts as buy volume, a market sell hits the bid and counts as sell volume. The per-minute difference is the delta; summing it from an anchor point gives the CVD line. A rising STRK CVD means aggressive buyers dominate, a falling line means sellers are hitting bids harder.

This page draws Starknet CVD for the aggregate of Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget and Gate and for each exchange on its own, so you can see whether the pressure is broad or concentrated on one venue. Price candles sit above the CVD pane and a delta histogram below it; the anchor can be the UTC session open, the start of the selected window or any bar you click. Divergence markers flag places where price made a new high or low that CVD did not confirm.

Frequently asked questions

What is STRK CVD?

STRK CVD is the cumulative volume delta of Starknet perpetual futures: the running total of taker buy volume minus taker sell volume, measured in USD or in STRK. It shows who is being aggressive. When the line climbs while price stalls, buyers are absorbing supply; when it falls while price holds, sellers are being absorbed by passive bids.

How is CVD by exchange calculated?

Each trade is tagged with its aggressor side as reported by the exchange, then bucketed per minute into buy and sell volume for that venue. The exchange CVD line sums buy minus sell for that exchange only, from the chosen anchor. The All line adds the same minute across every exchange that has data for it, so if one venue is temporarily missing, the status bar shows how many exchanges the aggregate currently includes.

Why does the last 15 seconds look faded?

Trades are collected in real time and written out every few seconds, so the newest bucket is still filling while it is drawn. Any bar younger than 15 seconds is marked provisional: it is shown faded and excluded from the headline numbers until the writers for every exchange have caught up and the bar is final.

Which exchanges are included?

The order-flow feed covers USDT-margined perpetual futures on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget and Gate. Each exchange has its own live or stale badge; a stale exchange is still drawn as a dashed line from its last confirmed minute but no longer contributes to the aggregate until its stream recovers.
